Shelby Hall comes from a family known and revered for their longevity and success in the off-road racing world. Now a third-generation professional off-road driver, Shelby has turned her passion for motorsports into a career. She joined the Rod Hall Racing team in 2012 and has proven her skills as a driver ever since; competing in endurance races, from the famed Baja 1000 and Mint 400 to the Rebelle Rally.
In 2019, Ford Motor Company invited Shelby to join the brand as they launched the all new and highly anticipated Ford Bronco. Shelby became the only female driver of the Ford Performance Bronco R race team, competing in the 2019 and 2020 Baja 1000. She then championed Ford in the Bronco Sport as the driver-of-record in the USA’s only all-female rally, the Rebelle Rally, becoming the first driver, female and male alike, to capture a win in the all-new Bronco line. She continues to represent the Bronco brand as the only female driver dedicated to off-road, focusing in desert and navigational competitions.
Shelby has demonstrated her driving abilities by successfully piloting a diverse mixture of race vehicles to podium finishes, from UTV’s to H1 Hummers.
Not only has Shelby been active on a variety of race courses, but she has also immersed herself in the business side of the off-road industry. She spent nearly seven years as the Administrator of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame, acting as the non-profit’s key point person creating programs that effectively spread awareness of the organization.
Using her skills for consumer-based events along with her dynamic ability to engage with fans, she now works and travels as a Ford off-road driving instructor and Bronco Brand Ambassador.
